With the release of their following few albums, Amaryllis, Threat to Survival, and their most recent album, Attention Attention Attention, they have remained famous rockers. Shinedown rocketed to the degree of fame they enjoy today with the publication of their album Sound of Madness in 2008, three years after their last album. This success has contributed to the band’s continuous growth. This success continued, reaching its zenith with 2008’s Sound of Madness, which led to the band developing a summer festival tour in 2010 dubbed Carnival of Madness, which they have headlined three times thus far. The North American trek will kick off on March 27 in Anaheim, California, with ADELITAS WAY, NEW MEDICINE and ART OF DYING also on the bill.Since the publication of their first studio album, Leave a Whisper, in 2003, Shinedown has consistently been at the top of the mainstream rock charts. Recorded at Cavallo's Lightning Sound studios outside of Los Angeles and a pair of Hollywood landmarks, Ocean Way Recording and Capitol Studios, the album was recently named among "This Year's Best Bets" by Billboard, which noted the inventive addition of synths, a 27-piece orchestra, and a 10-piece horn section to the band's powerful hard rock. "Amaryllis" sees SHINEDOWN joining forces once more with multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo ( KID ROCK, GREEN DAY),who previously collaborated with the band on "The Sound Of Madness". The track comes off the band's fourth studio album, "Amaryllis", which comes out on March 27 and follows up the band's biggest success yet, 2008's "The Sound Of Madness".
